LAI VUNG FERMENTED PORK
Lai Vung fermented pork is one of the Mekong famous food that tourist should try. This traditional food has been made for 60 years. The fermented pork gets it unique taste by it complicated recipe. At first the prayed pork is mixed with pork skin, chili, and pepper then wrapped by banana leaves. Finally people wait for 3 or 4 days till the pork fermented. The fermented pork is tasty with salty, sweet and sour flavour mixed together. It can be a joy for people to eat when drinking “Ruou Nep” alcohol made of sticky rice.
